Join us for an exclusive networking and knowledge sharing session with industry professionals and our special guests from ConocoPhillips where they will share an extensive plug fishing operation on one of their wells which started off as a relatively simple job but turned into an extremely complex operation.
Using AkerBP test and engineering globally as well as teaming up with vendors, they managed to find a way forward that saved the well for re-work.
By gathering internal and external competency, the team managed to make correct decisions going forward with regards to tooling and equipment and got the well back on production. This saved on re-drilling/completion and was a major cost saving.

Our presenter:
Dag Hunsbeth is a Well Intervention Engineer at ConocoPhillips. His career started in 1987 on Byford Dolphin, then he moved over to snubbing in 1993 working his way up to Snubbing Supt. He worked onshore from 2007 with TFMC as their in-house wellhead specialist and in 2011 moved to ConocoPhillips as Integrity/Wellhead Engineer. In 2016, he moved to Intervention and now works across all types of intervention jobs from P&A, WL and Coil tubing.
