Much of the world is experiencing an extraordinary era of ubiquitous technology, perhaps the most pervasive of which are the algorithms that have become deeply integrated into our work and social lives becoming unseen architects, shaping everything from social interactions to economic transactions.
These algorithms influence increasingly critical decisions and are shaping our world in unprecedented ways. From social media feeds to financial markets, healthcare to criminal justice, algorithmic processes are increasingly determining outcomes that impact our personal and professional lives.
With the theme "Living in an AI-gorithmic World,” iConference 2025 seeks to explore the implications on collecting, storing, retrieving, using, and distributing information increasingly influenced by algorithmic processes, such as generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and related technologies.
The Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering Department of Information and Library Science is excited to co-host this international conference in 2025 with iSchool.
