The Baraboo Hills/Heritage Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance will host an informal Meet & Mingle event Sept 18th, 2025 at Haskins Park in West Baraboo from 4pm – 7pm. Whether you're a seasoned trekker or just curious about what makes the Ice Age Trail so special, this is your chance to dive in! As you enjoy all the yummy fixin’s (FREE while they last), chat about your favorite segments, find a new hiking buddy for your next trip to the Trail, and learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities! In other words, seize the opportunity to get inspired, get informed, and get involved!
This event will also double as a “ramp-up” for the upcoming Ice Age Trail Alliance Annual Mammoth Hike Challenge. What is this Challenge, you ask? In short, starting October 1st, participants aim to hike 45 miles on the Ice Age Trail and visit 3 Trail Communities throughout the month. Complete the challenge by Oct 31st and you’ll earn a certificate and a limited-edition patch. Gear-Up for the challenge with our chapter merchandise! For a small donation ranging from $15 - $25 you can adorn yourself with a beautiful chapter tshirt, hat….OR BOTH!
