The Illionois Community College Faculty Assocation (ICCFA) is a direct advisory board to the ICCB. Each year we hold a conference on Teaching Excellence; this year our discusssion, debates, and debriefs will be held on Novermber 8, 2023 at the I-Hotel in Champaign-Urbana

You'll want to be there to see what's happening in community colleges across the state of Illinois as faculty dicuss pedagogy, innovations, delivery modes, and legislation affecting higher education.
A keynote address will be given by Nancy Chen whose had her own experence with community college before becoming an Administrator of the US Department of Labor's Women’s Bureau, and then to her roles for the state and eventually the White House.
The Illinois Community College Faculty of the Year, faculty grant winners, and student scholarship recipients will also be honored.
The confered is a chance to learn who Illinois Communty College faculty are, what we do, and how and why we do it. And bonus: There are no graded events that happen there.
