The 2025 biannual ICAP conference aims to empower members of Italian-Canadian communities across Canada to preserve and protect their histories. It encourages participants to reflect on the vital role of archives as active tools that can support communities in telling their own stories on their own terms. This event will highlight case studies of preservation projects on Italians in Canada, and will offer practical strategies and generative conversations to support individuals in safeguarding their stories for future generations, no matter what stage of the process they are in.
