IBTU 5th Annual Back 2 School Festival

It is with great pleasure that we extend a formal invitation to you to attend the upcoming 5th Annual Back 2 School Festival, which will be held in Leimert Park Village in partnership with the offices of LA County Supervisor District 2, Council Districts 8 and 10. Over the last two years, we have averaged over 5,000 attendees and are looking to continue making a significant impact with our community partners through valuable resources.

Event Highlights:

• Entertainment: Enjoy performances by local youth organizations, including musical acts, dance performances, and more.
• Activities: Participate in a variety of fun and engaging activities for all ages, including carnival games, sports clinics, and more.
• Art Workshops: Get creative with hands-on art workshops designed to inspire and entertain children and adults alike.
• Yoga Sessions: Start your day with a refreshing yoga session as part of our morning wellness program.
• Free Backpacks: We will be giving away complimentary backpacks filled with school supplies to help students get ready for the new school year.
• Sports Village: Engage in skills labs and 3-on-3 basketball games with the LA Clippers, LAFC, and LA Kings.

• Seedling Bar: Explore our seedling bar, provided by The Plant Chica, to learn about gardening and sustainability.
