IAVM Venue Tour Series: Cow Palace Arena & Event Center

The 1-A District Agriculture Association, better know as the Cow Palace Arena and Event Center was built in 1941 and has hosted an array of events (some more well known that others). Ranging from Political Conventions, tradeshows, circuses, sporting events and concerts, the Cow Palace has seen it all!! Producer of the Grand National Rodeo and Livestock Exposition, the Cow Palace has been a gathering place for western lifestyle enthusiasts and rodeo fans across the West Coast.

Registration is open to IAVM members and non-members. All are welcome.

Note: It will be a relaxed afternoon, connecting with industry friends. This is a walking tour so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Registration fees are Pay What You Can donations. All registration proceeds benefit future NorCal Chapter Scholarship efforts.

If you are registering for more than one person, please do each RSVP individually so we can capture the best information for our Know Before You Go and parking communication.

Please refer to the FAQs if you are interested in donating to support future scholarships but you are unable to join us on Friday, April 25, 2025.

There will be complimentary onsite parking available for all registrants. There are also many public transportation options with nearby Muni (8, 8BX, 9, 9R), BART Station (Balboa Park) and CalTrain (Bayshore Station). There will be other event activities taking place that day so please be mindful of any directional signage when you arrive (a highlighted parking map will be shared closer to the event for all registrants).

Info: Our friends at the Cow Palace are again welcoming us back for a Venue Tour on Friday, April 25. Their campus will be abuzz with their Spring Carnival and Just Between Friends Clothing consignment sale. Andrew will be featuring the Lower Bays and explore where they host the Dickens Fair.
