Croydon is one of London's largest and most distinctive suburban towns.

Originally a Surrey market town it's actually only been part of London since 1965. However, the capital's influence had begun to be felt long before that and today it's a busy, well connected and much overlooked part of the capital.

And I can't resist it because it has trams!
