IAIN HORNALBritish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Iain Hornal has performed at Wembley Stadium, the Grammy Awards, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and every venue mentioned in the chorus of Wings' "Rock Show". But unless you're one of the lucky superfans that discovered his two self-released solo albums, you've probably never heard of him.
As an in-demand sideman Hornal has had the great fortune to work with some of the biggest artists of all time. He is a long-standing touring member of both art-pop giants 10cc and Jeff Lynne's ELO. He also has toured with Yes ft ARW playing and singing the parts of the late Chris Squire.
Hornal's new album Return To The Magic Kingdom is the third in a series of albums co-created with producer and multi-instrumentalist Jo Webb. A kitchen-sink blast of summery pop rock - loud guitars, chugging piano, honking glam-rock sax, hooks aplenty and harmonies for days - its influences are unashamedly right there on its proverbial sleeve.
Iain looks forward to bringing his music to life at The Horn with his amazing 6-piece band, made up of some of the UK’s finest session musicians and members of noughties popmasters The Feeling.
POKKISHAM
Special guest Pokkisham is a London-born singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. Her love of storytelling, set against jazz harmony, soulful vocals, and intricate arrangements, seeks to bring you into her world. Pokkisham means ‘treasure’, representing her Tamil heritage, as well as signifying the value of music in her life.
She has been steadily gaining the attention of the music industry with her recent singles, including Jazz FM, BBC Radio, and numerous critics and reviewers, as well as being supported by the F List, which promotes more women writing, playing, and producing within the UK music industry. She also features regularly as a musicologist on BBC Radio 6 Music with Huw Stephens.
