Key Conversations in Refugee Ministry

#1 Global Overview of Forced Displacement + IAFR’s Continuum of Response – an overview of key terms and statistics related to forced displacement and discussion of IAFR’s conceptual diagram that describes the needs of refugees and other displaced people at different phases of the journey from fleeing home to long-term integration in a new place

#2 Ministry in Humanitarian Contexts – a discussion of unique challenges and opportunities for Christians engaging in ministry in humanitarian contexts

#3 Evangelism Meets Aid – maintaining a faithful Christian witness in contexts where peoples’ daily needs are unmet requires intentionality and extra care.

This series of three live conversations will be held October 28, November 4, and November 11 – 6-8 pm CDT/CST (note time change in this season from UTC -5 to UTC -6) – live sessions of 2 hours each time.
