About this Event
"Nonviolent Communication for Facilitators" is a practical guide for facilitators seeking to enhance communication dynamics. It delves into the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and offers techniques to foster empathy, clarify needs, and navigate conflicts constructively. Through real-world examples and exercises, it equips facilitators with the tools to create an inclusive and harmonious environment where all voices are heard and understood
Nonviolent Communication (NVC), or Compassionate Communication, is a communication framework developed by American psychologist Marshall Rosenberg in the 1960s. At its core, NVC aims to foster understanding, empathy, and connection by promoting honest expression and empathic listening. Through the lens of NVCm conflicts take on an entirely different shape. Instead of fighting and struggling against one another, we can seek the point of connection at the heart of every interaction, including the interactions with ourselves.
In this session, we will be exploring the essentials of NVC and how we can utilize its key aspects to be more empathic facilitators in sessions.
