I will be the guest speaker at Allendale. As many of you may recall, last year, I was scheduled to serve in this role, but I became sick and had to cancel. Then, I simpIy became too nervous and fear overshadowed my courage. I am grateful Pastor Andy has welcomed me to try again.
In reflecting on my message, I have decided not to use the words I was going to share last year. I have grown and evolved, so too shall my message--I hope.
I am excited to share The Tall Order, the new band I am in, will be featured. We will be playing original music. I am deeply touched by my bandmates support and willingness to play alongside me in the spirit of expressing love, courage, and growth.
It will mean so much to me to have you present either in-person or online or, if you are unable to attend, your words of love and encouragement will be carried with me throughout the service and beyond.
