Famous is the first and only independent artist in the history of Canadian Music to be nominated for a Juno Award and MuchMusic Video Award for a debut EP after only a year into starting his rap career. His first release, ‘I Rap Now’, a very well-crafted, short play album, with production from Grammy Nominated Boi-1da and ToneMason, spawned 5 songs, 4 videos, 3 radio hits, 2 major nominations, MTV performance, cross country tour including dates with Nas, The Clipse, Method Man and 1 ‘Best New Artist’ award south of the border from 93.7 WBLK. It would seem that based on that, it’s fair to say that the old adage just may be true, We All Wanna Be Famous.
