I WANT MY "OG" MTV! is only a glimpse of the memories we have from the "golden age" of Music Television - you know, back when MTV actually showed music videos?! If you didn't know that, oh let us educate and enterain you!!?!? Come see what songs made the cut this time around, and we are specifically targeting the years from 1981 - 2011 which seriously leaves WAAAAAAAY too much out, but when we really look at the way the format went down hill after music discovery became their bread and butter, thanks to the first reality show "The Real World", these years covered most of our memories. From 120 Minutes to Yo MTV Raps, for a lot of us MTV provided an opportunity to find new music and some of us REALLY miss the old format. We KNOW we KNOW, we can always watch MTV Classic but it's NOT the same. So see what we have in store for you and get ready to have some fun.
THERE will be "DRESS YOUR VIBE" contest - so come as an 80s, 90s or Y2K fanatic, or represent your favorite genre like "Headbanger's Ball", "Total Request Live" or whatever vibe you most loved during these 20 years of music television entertainment.
