PREPARATIONS PRIOR TO CLASS: All NMT classes address myofascial and neuromuscular techniques and bodywork philosophies. They are fast paced and advanced and it helps to familiarize yourself with attachments, fiber direction, ligaments, muscles, joints, spine curvature, nerves, cardiovascular system, and lymph system in advance. Netter’s Atlas Of Human Anatomy book and The Trail Guide book are great resources as well as any other anatomy books you may already have on hand in your personal library.
Shoulder Mobilizers And Thoracic Outlet: Review anatomy of Trapezius, Levator Scapula, Rhomboids, Serratus Anterior, Pectoralis Major and Minor. Ligaments, blood vessels, and joints of the shoulder and ribs, bones: sternum, 1st-9th rib, clavicle, mid humerus, Cervical transverse tubercles of C1-C5/6. Review anatomy of Cervical joints C3-C6, Ribs 1-3, Clavicle, Sternum, aorta, vena cava, and nerves of brachial and thoracic outlet regions
