George Gershwin’s music – innovative at the time, but now solidly “classic” – includes timeless songs such as I got rhythm, Embraceable you, Let’s call the whole thing off, Summertime, and many others. The St. Mark’s Choir and Soloists will sing Gershwin classics in a “cabaret” setting in Morrill Hall: attendees will be seated at round tables with candles, food and drink (wine and non-alcoholic) will be served. This event, presented by the Friends of Music at St. Mark’s, is both a fund-raiser and a “fun” raiser. Individual tickets are $100.00. (For ages 21 and over only, please.)
