I Dreamt I Was Home Again Opening

I Dreamt I Was Home Again is opening on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at The Chapter House. Come through from 5-8 PM to experience the show, meet the artists, and celebrate with us. The opening features a performance by singer Tia Wood (Nehiyaw, Salish), a "Dirt Dance" by exhibition artist seth cardinal dodginghorse (Tsuu'tina nation), and a poetry reading by Mikayla Martin (Blackfeet/Squamish/Comanche).

I Dreamt I Was Home Again is an exhibition that centers on themes of nostalgia and belonging, explored through the lens of three emerging artists: seth cardinal dodginghorse (Cree/Blackfeet), Mikayla Martin (Blackfeet/Squamish/Comanche), and Alexandria Ybarra (Tongva/Xicana). The showcase will feature two short films, two installations, ceramic sculpture, and three paintings, offering visitors a rich tapestry of mediums and perspectives.
