Formed by Jimmy D Rogers in early 2020, I Dig Pig honors the fiery spotlight moments of the songs Ron McKernan would perform each night during the first seven years of the Grateful Dead. Years on the road have honed I Dig Pig into a professional and spirited live act who continue to make a mark and separate themselves from the most crowded music scene in the nation: Grateful Dead Tributes. Due to the deep songbook Pigpen delivered from, those who are not familiar with the man or the early Grateful Dead just hear and enjoy a damn fine Blues & R&B band when listening to I Dig Pig.
