
About this Event
For any 6th - 8th Graders:
What will we do? - Stand-up, Stand-strong, Stand-together
- Expressive and art activities: Create affirmation mirrors
- Learn and apply the 5-finger technique to combat bullying through role-play activities
- Painting Rocks of Kindness for others
Participants will have opportunity for:
- Self- esteem building
- Self-empowerment
- Practicing assertiveness and boundary setting
- Engaging in Acts of Kindness and inspiration for others
- Connection and peer support
This session will be facilitated by Jennifer Hannett. Jennifer is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), and Registered Play Therapistâ„¢ (RPTâ„¢). Jennifer has over 20 yrs experience working as a social worker and/or therapist with vulnerable children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups in multiple roles and settings.
