About this Event
I am Not What Happened to Me; I am What God Led Me to Be
Together, we can make a powerful difference in the lives of children in our community. Child abuse is a heartbreaking issue affecting too many young lives, but by joining forces, we can raise awareness, support prevention, and help create a safer, more nurturing environment for all children.
Join us for an inspiring evening with guest speaker Robin Hill, who shares her powerful story of resilience. Robin knows firsthand the pain of abuse, family disorder, and hardship—but even more importantly, she knows the triumph of overcoming. Through faith, perseverance, and purpose, Robin transformed her struggles into a calling to encourage and uplift others.
As a licensed social worker, Robin has devoted her career to serving those in need. Her work spans hospice care (both medical and bereavement support), psychosocial therapy, and advocacy for the IDD community. She has also served as a legal guardian for individuals with cognitive, mental, physical, and developmental disabilities. Her life and career reflect a commitment to walking alongside others as they find hope and healing.
Come hear Robin’s story and be encouraged by her message of strength, restoration, and the power of God’s guidance.
