Join the London & Middlesex Local Immigration Partnership (LMLIP) on December 10 as we celebrate the people who have chosen to build their lives in our region.
This year is a special one. We are bringing together two celebrations in one evening: the 2025 I Am London campaign and the inaugural I Am Middlesex campaign.
I Am London 2025: Choosing to Stay: Every year, I Am London shines a light on the diversity and success of immigrants in our city. For 2025, we are telling a specific kind of story. We are highlighting individuals who originally arrived in London for a temporary reason, whether for school, a work contract, or other circumstances, but made the meaningful choice to stay.
They arrived with plans to leave, but they found a home. By putting down roots, they have enriched our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and culture.
I Am Middlesex, A New Chapter: We are also thrilled to introduce the very first I Am Middlesex campaign. For the first time, we are expanding this celebration across the County to honour newcomers and strengthen Middlesex County. You will be the first to meet this inaugural group and hear about their contributions to life in Middlesex.
What to Expect: This event is more than a presentation; it is a chance to connect.
