Come celebrate our vibrant MAWA community at this delicious Valentine’s-alternative event. A buffet meal featuring all the options, including gluten-friendly and vegetarian, will tickle your taste buds. But wait, there’s more!
Where else can you bid on the amazing skills that MAWA members have to offer? Past auction items have included use of a cabin for a weekend, pet psychology and headstone engraving. There will also be door prizes and a 50/50 draw.
Let’s dress up in our MAWA colours—pink and orange—and get fancy!
All proceeds from this event will contribute to MAWA’s Legacy Fund at the Winnipeg Foundation, dedicated to supporting the Foundation Mentorship Program (FMP) in perpetuity. Already, thanks to your support, the Legacy Fund has grown from less than $560 sixteen years ago to almost $300,000 today. Our goal is to reach $500,000, so we are over half way there! The money raised at the fundraiser will be partially matched by the Winnipeg Foundation and then partially matched again by Canadian Heritage… a snowball effect! By attending the event, you are helping to ensure that the Foundation Mentorship Program continues into the future.
