Fredericton's top live act, Josh Bravener and The Hypochondriacs will deliver a high-energy night of music at Fredericton High School's Tom Morrison Theatre on April 17" in support of producing their much anticipated 3rd album. As a twist, this fundraiser also offers an opportunity to give back.Earlier this year Josh Bravener and The Hypochondriacs recorded the album at Joel Plaskett's Fang Studios in Dartmouth and now they need to raise funds to complete the process - mixing, mastering and manufacturing - and want to do something special as a way of giving back. "We are really proud of this album, the songs are some of my best, but like everything else, this one will end up costing more than our previous releases," explained Bravener. "With the funds raised at this show, we'll be able to cover some of those costs and at the same time, lend a
hand to an up-and-coming act, so we've invited a group from FHS to join us." Warming up the stage that evening will be a set by The Romans, a powerhouse rock act made up of FHS students, and recommended by Greg Webber, the head of the FHS Music Department. Last summer they headlined a show at the Charlotte St. Arts Centre. This concert will allow them the chance to perform on a large stage with professional production and lighting.
