What ever your sport, if you're looking for a simple method to enhance your athletic performance, help prevent injuries, and speed up recovery, then this is for you. Perfect for individuals aged 18 and above who are new to Hypopressives or if you are familiar with the basics and looking to progress to full Level 1 Flows through standing, kneeling, seated and supine postures.
Hypopressives use rhythmical breath work and a sequence of postural holds to reliably activate and train the muscles of the core, whilst also improving body systems efficiency and overall health.

Course Format
6 one-hour sessions, 1pm - 2pm on consecutive Mondays starting from the 3rd March and ending on the 7th of April 2025, at Canolfan Beaumaris LL58 8AL.
PLEASE NOTE, Hypopressive exercise is suitable for everyone, but one breath-work element, the Hypopressive apnoea (breath-hold with vacuum) should not be practised by individuals who are pregnant, or those affected by with;
-active cancer
-cardio-respiratory disease
-uncontrolled blood pressure
-acute inflammatory gut disorders like Crohn’s Disease
-recent abdominal surgery
This is beacause, when practising the Hypopressive apnoea technique, the body experiences decreased internal pressures, creating a unique 'vacuum effect'. While this component may not be suitable for individuals with the above specific conditions, it will not hinder your enjoyment of other aspects of the exercise.
