This Hypnotherapy course is designed for Licensed professionals seeking to add Hypnotherapy to their tools and techniques. Hypnosis has been practiced since the times of the sleeping temples in ancient Egypt and Greece. The use of visualization, imagination and suggestions seems to have been used by many cultures and religions through time and to be as old as mankind.
Today, Hypnosis has been recognized as an approved method for applications in medical and Dental practice by the AMA, (American Medical Association), since 1958 and the tittle Hypnotherapist is listed in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles published by the U.S Department of labor since 1975.
Hypnosis and hypnotherapy have become highly respected and sought after to alleviate several conditions, reframe negative patterns of conduct, manage habits, and relieve stress using the vast resources of the subconscious mind.
This 70 plus hours course consists of 50 hours of online live lectures, independent homework, reading and practice and it provides 50 CE's hours.
It is designed for licensed professionals: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Psychologists, Social workers, Nurses, and Licensed Professional Counselors/Licensed Mental health Counselors. After completion, you will be able to add hypnosis and hypnotherapy to your ongoing practice.
Note: The 50 CE hours are valid for all the mentioned professions. Rules and regulations vary by State about the approval and use of the term hypnotherapist or hypnotist and its practice. It is the student’s responsibility to check with their regulating body about the requirements on their respective State.
We will explore the history of hypnosis, how to induce trance, recognize depth in trance, how to build and deliver suggestions, understand the role of the conscious and the unconscious mind amongst other topics.
This is an online live course with limited access to in person participants due to social distance protocols.
