Newcastle's biggest month of comedy just got a whole lot better, with hyp working in collaboration with Big Dog Comedy again this year to present our Annual Comedy night with a fresh new line-up of standout comedians.
We are thrilled to announce that we have secured a HILARIOUS line up of Comedians this year, including; Jenny Tian, Kirsty Webeck, Daniel Muggleton, Rohan Arneil and more!
COMEDIANS
Jenny Tian
In the span of a year, Jenny Tian went from gigging to no audience to becoming TikTok famous. This is a show about hope, the internet, and clout chasing.
Jenny Tian will be dishing out ALL the secrets about life as a content creator. BIG serious secrets!!
Jenny performed to sold-out crowds across Australia in 2023. You may of heard / seen her on Celebrity Letters and Numbers, triple j, or her TikTok series Coach Dayum! Jenny also co-hosts The Parasocial Social Club podcast with fellow comedian Kevin Jin.
Kirsty Webeck
Kirsty wins fans and hearts everywhere she goes with her upbeat and relatable brand of comedy that is often described as playful, light-hearted and fun. A gifted storyteller, she has a natural ability for turning the mundane into the hilarious and has quickly become one of the most popular Australian comedians in the industry.
Her first stand up comedy special 'Silver Linings' was released on Paramount Plus in November 2022.
Daniel Muggleton
Australian comedy’s foul-mouthed prophet has had a big 2023 with his first international tour, an appearance at Just For Laughs and a headline show at Sydney Opera House.
Come see why Daniel Muggleton’s mix of bracing social commentary and electric crowd work have made him one of comedy’s rising stars!
Rohan Arneil
Has performed all over Australia and internationally, starting his career in Sydney before moving to America for double the amount of gigs and a lower minimum wage.
In 2020, COVID sent him spiralling back to Sydney to work as a garbo.
