About this Event
If you have been interested in hydroponics, but the cost and complexity are making you think twice- this is a great demonstrative workshop for you!If you would love to pick fresh lettuce you’ve grown and you have found gardening with soil a challenge, this is a great workshop for you!
Deb Walker, Master Gardener Volunteer, will show you the steps to create and grow in a ‘deep tissue water culture’ system.Deb enjoys sharing about her challenges and successes and why she thinks deep tissue water culture is a great way to grow greens in FL.
Deb is practical, and you will hear why she finds this process of gardening productive and cost-effective, too. You’ll leave with tips for sourcing supplies, and a free packet of lettuce seeds! Whether you like to tinker with different ways to grow food, are looking for growing solutions for small spaces, or are wanting to adopt a new healthy habit eating from your own garden- you’ll enjoy this workshop!
