Led by artist Bethany Stead, we will sketch in pencil, then sculpt our own human creature hybrid forms and figurines from clay.About this Event
Inspired by Salvador Dali’s Inferno drawings and paintings from Durham University Library and Collections, we will look at imagery and books which show hybrid forms throughout art history. Exploring the symbolic interpretations of these forms through classical myths, we will make our own personal hellish or heavenly hybrid creatures.
