Shams works in the Business Services sector, leading Incubadora Feminista Latinoamericana, a female and LGBTQ+ economic empowerment organization.
This fellow is a political scientist, Human Rights PhD fellow, and business consultant. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, their top business challenge is marketing and sales. During the host placement, Shams hopes to learn about the legal and financial impact of investing in approaching local investors into positive social and environmental startups. In addition, the fellow would like to learn more about the LGBTQI+ entrepreneurial ecosystem to understand how specific programs are generated.
