Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 5 km (3.1 miles) or 11 km (6.8 miles) group walks in downtown Daytona Beach. The 11km will take us over the Memorial Bridge to Beach St., Main Street and a section of the walk is on the famous beach itself!Tailgate Registration - 12:30PM in the parking lot. The cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
You may walk with the group or go at your own pace - ask for the Map/Directions when you register.
Bring your books, this is an IVV/AVA credit event.
The walk is rated 1C (flat & moderate), as a significant portion of this walk is on the beach (hard-packed sand.) Alternate route, on your own, along the sidewalks on A1A, parallel to the route. The alternate route is suitable for wheelchairs/strollers.
