Start Point: Tailgate Registration in Truist Bank Parking Lot in the Indian River Village Shopping Center 709 East 3rd Ave. New Smyrna Beach
Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 5KM (3.1 miles) or 11 (6.8 miles) group walks in quaint New Smyrna Beach, FL.
The 11KM walk includes the downtown shopping areas on both the mainland side and the peninsula, and you will walk across the high highway bridge as well as the lower causeway bridge.
Please carry your own water & wear walking shoes. Pace: 1 mile every 20 minutes. Or, at your own pace by picking up a set of Map/Directions when you register.
Tailgate Registration 30 minutes prior to start.
The cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Stamp your books! This is an AVA/IVV YRE event.
The walk is rated 1C and includes a section on the beach. The remainder of the walk is on sidewalks and is suitable for wheelchairs/strollers. Pets are allowed but must be leashed and picked up after and not allowed on beach.
