For the past decades Tamworth Country Music Festival has been a staple in the Hussy Hicks’ yearly calendar as a place to catch up with all their friends, from a lifetime of music making, in one place. You may have seen the girls backing Beccy Cole as ‘Sisters of Twang’, caught them at the Maton showcase or spotted them jumping up on stages round the festival with everyone from Bill Chambers, Luke O’Shea and the Toombs Brothers to Uncle Bob’s Jug band.
For this one-off afternoon at the beautiful Capitol Theatre the band will invite some of their nearest and dearest musical friends to be part of the show. Sometimes when anything can happen, the best things do.
