Husain @ 110: The Artist Who Carried India to the WorldMaqbool Fida Husain. A name that continues to breathe in the story of Indian art. In 2025 as the world marks his 110th birth anniversary DRS Arts Company® presents an exhibition that honours his journey and celebrates his vision.
The preview will be held in Ahmedabad from 1 to 6 October 2025 at DRS Arts Company followed by the main exhibition at Rann Utsav Dhordo Kutch from 23 October 2025 to 4 March 2026.
The exhibition brings together 110 authenticated editions from serigraphs to reproductions and rare works. Each one reflects Husain’s astonishing range. He painted divinity and cinema womanhood and ritual politics and faith. He carried the memory of epics and the pulse of a modern nation. His lines and colours travelled from India to the world and returned with new meanings.
This is not only an exhibition but also a cultural moment. To see Husain in the white desert of Kutch is to see Indian art in conversation with tradition nature and global audiences.
Curated by Chaitya Dhanvi Shah Husain @ 110 celebrates the artist the storyteller the visionary whose work remains alive for generations to come.
