A brand-new collection Hurricanes Katrina and Rita at 20: An Anthology of Louisiana Poetry and Art contains poetry and artwork from 44 Louisiana writers and/or artists. Edited by former Louisiana Poets Laureate Mona Lisa Saloy and John Warner Smith, the anthology is published by Black Bayou Press.
Words & Music is proud to present the debut New Orleans reading from this anthology with a stellar lineup of poets: current Louisiana Poet Laureate Gina Ferrara, Benjamin Morris, Michelle (M.A. Nicholson), Valentine Pierce, and Dr. Saloy herself.
