Heather Hurlock & Brad Hinton bring their new collaborative project to Godfrey Daniels, drawing on a decade of making music together.
Heather Hurlock’s cinematic writing and ethereal voice pair seamlessly with Brad Hinton’s musical finesse and timeless approach to songcraft. Their harmonies—pure, effortless, and haunting—form the center of a sound rooted in dreamy folk melodies that linger long after the final chord. Both artists have deep roots in the Pennsylvania folk and Americana scene, from Heather’s early work with Tin Bird Choir to Brad’s many collaborations across the region.
Opening the night is Emme Drago, a Reading-based singer-songwriter whose genre-blending approach and fresh perspective offer a personal, resonant start to the show. Join us for an intimate evening in our Live Music Listening Room as they create an atmosphere that feels personal, transportive, and full of connection.

Hurlock & Hinton is the new project from longtime musical collaborators Heather Hurlock and Brad Hinton. With ten years of shared stages behind them, the duo blends Heather’s cinematic songs and ethereal voice with Brad’s musical finesse and timeless songcraft, sharing music rooted in dreamy folk melodies that feel like memories. Their harmonies are the heart of their sound, pure, effortless, and haunting in the best way. Live, they offer an intimate, transportive experience that stays with you long after the last note.
Hurlock and Hinton have each carved distinct paths through the Pennsylvania folk and Americana scene. Heather was a founding member of barn rock outfit Tin Bird Choir before launching her own band. Hinton has a long list of collaborations, including Hezekiah Jones, The Keystone Breakers, Pocono Jones & The Bear, and Tin Bird Choir.

Emme Drago is a singer-songwriter from Reading, PA. When it comes to genres, her music is not able to be confined to one category. Its purpose is simply to connect with peoples’ life experiences and to become more personal through each individual interpretation. Influenced by past eras of music, but also including fresh new perspectives, she is forming a sound that is truly her own. She has recently recorded with producer Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Lakestreet Dive, The Steel Wheels etc.) and is beyond excited to release new music in the near future!
