Historic Main Street celebrates the 6th Annual Hunters Moon - Main Street MOON-FEST, Sat., Oct. 18, 2025. This is a free event covering 8+ historic blocks in the business district to shop and eat plus hunters car show,3K Color Fun Run and 5K timed event, artisans, arts & crafts and food trucks vendors. Ticketed events include the "Wine, Ale & Spirit" stroll featuring Texas wineries, breweries & distilleries in the 8-block district. The festival opens on Fri., Oct. 18 for early registration and opening patty and the finale will be the inflatable costume party and street dance.TICKETED EVENTS:
The annual Wine, Ale & Spirit Stroll features Texas wineries, breweries and distilleries as you stroll through 8+blocks of Calvert's historic Main Street business district. The ticked event is part of our annual Hunters Moon Main Street Moon-Fest.
Tickets are $40-$50 and include wine glass & lanyard and map to visit all the stops. VIP tickets include bling, event map and priority/special seating at the CROWN, RACK & POINTS deer walk, runway fashion competition - A HIGHLIGHT OF THE EVENT that will kick off the stroll to see the best of the best ANTLERS, TOP HATS & TIARAS head gear. Teams and individuals will compete for $1000 and more. You will not ant to miss the kick off party so arrive early. General admission to the wine, ale & spirit stroll are $40/person.
The Hunters Moon "Hooves & Heels" 5K Color Run is hosted by Calvert's Historic Foundation. This fun event includes a free t-shirt with your entry as you run through the Historic residential blocks and get doused in Historic Paint Colors. Calvert's Volunteer Fire Department truck and ladder will be the starting and finishing line. For more info visit the website.
The Hunters Car & Truck Show features antiques, classics, trucks and ATVs... lots of fun prizes and cars to visit. The Calvert Chamber of Commerce will host the event. To enter your vehicle, visit the website and register online. The event is free to view for spectators and will be set up on Main Street at the light (Hanna and Main).
