Join us on Wednesday, October 9th (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM) at Amaravati Healing Center for a traditional Rapeh ceremony guided by Kana Bane, in the lineage of the Huni Kuin people of the Brazilian Amazon.
✨ About the Ceremony
Kana will begin by sharing about the sacred medicine of Rapeh and how it is traditionally used by the Huni Kuin people. He will guide participants on how to receive Rapeh for the first time with openness and respect.
Rapeh will then be served individually, followed by chanting and music to invoke the healing force of the medicine. Voice and guitar will carry songs that uplift and open the heart, with space for everyone to join in singing or movement.
A second round of Rapeh will be offered to deepen the connection, supported by chants and prayer. Kuripe (self-serving pipe) will be mentioned, though self-administration will not be taught.
