Dear Participants,Below you can find the details of the three-day event. Please pay close attention to the competition requirements, such as creating an archon.vekn.net profile, registering for the event, uploading your deck list there and the rules regarding proxy usage.
Our goal is to elevate the Hungarian National Championship into a high-quality, prestigious event that meets the expectations and standards we set for ourselves, while also demonstrating to the game’s designers, publishers and international players that the Hungarian VTES community is ready to host a larger-scale tournament series domestically.
For this reason, from now on we will enforce stricter organizational and judging standards, safeguarding the integrity of our beloved hobby while still guiding it toward the future. In practice, this means the following:
• At our official tournaments, there will be no zero-tolerance policy; however, excessive substance use (or any form of deviant behavior that disrupts the community or gameplay) may result in disqualification from the given tournament and a one-time ban from the next event. It is the responsibility of fellow players to report a player who is unfit for playing a table of VTES. The decision regarding disqualification lies solely with the Head Judge. Repeated behavior may result in one-year ban.
• Due to the time-intensive nature of our hobby, we expect organizers to establish a clear timeline and players to adhere to it. If one person is late, the entire tournament is delayed. A player who does not arrive at the table within 5 minutes after the scheduled start time will receive a warning. After 10 minutes, the table will begin the game (if possible), and the late player will receive a game loss. Any breaks during a game requires judge approval.
The event spans three days. Overnight accommodation can be arranged at the following locations, all within a 10-minute walk of the venue:

Format: Multideck with Best-Performing Deck Method

Best-Performing Deck Method
The finalist must play the deck that achieved the best performance during the preliminary rounds.
The best-performing deck is determined by identifying the highest score in a single preliminary round, using the following criteria in order:
1. Game Wins (GW)
2. Victory Points (VP)
3. Tournament Points (TP)
If multiple decks are tied across all criteria, the deck to be played is selected randomly (e.g., by a die roll) among the tied decks.

The five finalists qualify for the next day’s National Championship, joining the top 20 players from the year-long HQS tournament series, expanding the invitational final to 25 players.
* archon.vekn.net is a new tournament management website. Registration is required to use it. A separate guide will be created and shared. Its purpose is to allow players to register for events in advance, upload deck lists, and—using an internet-connected smart device—track their round results, seating assignments, and any warnings or penalties received during the tournament.

A Magyar Nemzeti Bajnokság egy nívós, rangos eseménnyé kívánjuk avanzsálni, mellyel a saját magunk felé támasztott elvárásoknak, igényeknek szeretnénk megfelelni, mint egy bizonyítva a játék készítői, forgalmazói és külföldi játékosok felé, hogy a magyar VTES közösség számára megérett egy nagyobb volumenű versenysorozat háztáji megrendezésének lehetősége. Ezért innentől kezdve komolyabb rendezői, bírói elvárásokat támasztunk, vigyázva szeretett hobbink integritására, de mégis a jövő felé terelve azt. A gyakorlatban ez a következőket jelenti:
- Hivatalos versenyeinken nem lesz zero tolerancia, de a túlzott szerhasználat (vagy bármilyen jellegű, közösséget és játáékot zavaró deviáns viselkedés) kizárást von maga után az adott versenyről, illetve egyszeri eltiltást egy következőről. A közös játékra nem alkalmas állapot jelentése a játékostársak feladata, a kizárás ügyében a döntés joga egyedül a főbíróé. Amennyiben a tendencia ismétlődik, az éves eltiltást vonhat maga után.
- Hobbink időigényes mivolta miatt elvárjuk szervezőinktől egy idővonal felállítását, a játékosoktól pedig annak betartását. Ha egy valaki késik, az egész verseny csúszik miatta. Aki nem érkezik kezdési idő után 5 perccel az asztalhoz, egy figyelmeztetést kap. 10 perc után az asztal elkezdi a játékot (ha tudja), a késő pedig game loss-t kap. A játék közbeni szünethez bírói engedély szükséges.
Az esemény 3 napos, az ott alvást a következő helyeken tudjátok megoldani, melyek mindegyike 10 perc sétán belül van a helyhez:

*Az archon.vekn.net egy új, versenyzést lebonyolító weboldal. Regisztráció szükséges a használatához, melyről egy külön leírást fogok létrehozni és megosztani. A lényege, hogy mindenki képes előre bejelentkezni az eseményhez, oda pakli listát feltölteni és internetes eléréssel és egy okos eszközzel a verseny közben ellenőrizni a fordulókban elért eredményeit, ülésrendjét - urambocsá kapott figyelmeztetéseket, intéseket.
