For October's Humpday Hoedown, our theme night is “60's Rock” music. We're doing selections from @therollingstones , Bob Dylan , Jimi Hendrix , The Doors , The Beatles , and more.....Come out October 1 at 7:30pm to Meenar in downtown Danville!!!“What’s the hell is Humpday Hoedown?” You may ask....
Danville Music puts on a show once a month at Meenar (1st or 2nd Wednesday of the month) in which we pick music from a band/artist/genre we love and provide a professional band to play selections while musicians in the audience can join us. Students/Patrons/Friends of Danville Music pick a song from our selection and essentially do “instrument karaoke”. Bring a guitar/bass/drumsticks/vocal chords and join us onstage! For October, we're picking favorites from the 1960's and sprinkling in some spooky Halloween songs as well. 🙂
But hang on, there's more!!! We're going to do a raffle at the bar!!! Anybody playing will get a FREE ticket! We'll be giving away cables, effects pedals, strings, and much much more!!!!!!
