Learn the crochet basics over a cuppa at Island Espresso, just opposite Lily & Dot, in a relaxed, small-group setting.Suitable for absolute beginners, both left or right-handed (14 years +).
We cover the chain, single/double crochet stitches and how to read a basic pattern to kickstart your crochet journey. After this one-hour session, you may be interested in our 2-hour granny square class (see our website for details).
Maximum 4 people per session so we can ensure maximum 1:1 coaching.
* Cost: $40 per person, including yarn, a hot beverage on arrival and a 5mm crochet hook to keep.
* Where: Upstairs at Island Espresso, 171 Elizabeth St, Hobart

* Parking: Level 2 of the UTAS Apartments (via Melville St) have 2-hour meters right behind the café, and 3-hour meters are available on Brisbane St, between Elizabeth St and Argyle St.
* Accessibility: Our venue is located up one flight of stairs. Please advise us at time of booking if ground-floor access is required, and we can arrange this for you.

Class fees are non-refundable, as our events are regularly sold out and someone else may miss out on a place due to last-minute cancellations.
However, we understand that life gets in the way sometimes! Therefore, dates and names are transferable if required. Class vouchers may also be applied to in-store credit with 24 hours' notice.
