The Hume and Hovell Charity Walk has been postponed (again), due to the forecast of heavy rain with thunderstorms, this weekend. The Walk is now scheduled for 9:00am Sunday 6th of April 2025, to avoid the summer heat.The walk commemorates the visit by Hamilton Hume and William Hovell to Table Top Mountain on Sunday 14th of November 1824.
Walkers can place a stone as their contribution to building a Memorial Cairn at the top of Table Top Mountain.
Directions: About 30 minutes drive from Albury. Turn right off the Olympic Highway at the Peregrines Reception Centre sign.

The 6km walk is suited to moderately fit persons above the age of six. Waiver to be signed. Participation Entry Charges. $25 per car, $50 per mini-bus, $100 per coach.
