Welcome to Humber Cup 2024!
The Humber Cup is Humber College’s inaugural national undergraduate mooting competition. Participants will compete in teams of two, arguing a topical and high-level court case at the appellate level for two opposing positions. Like a mock trial, mooting is an exercise in advocacy in mock court, but unlike a mock trial, participants argue questions of law rather than those of fact.
Only undergraduate students are welcome to compete, but we welcome judges, lawyers, paralegals and present law students as judges. Spectators are also welcome to attend for a fee. Whether you are an aspiring advocate or looking to further your experience and education, this will be an enriching and enjoyable weekend.
