Who's Danielle?
Danielle A. Franklin is the Founder of , a nonprofit advancing responsible, human-centered artificial intelligence and its real-world applications.
With nearly two decades of experience in U.S. Department of Defense research and development, Franklin worked as an R&D engineer across advanced technology programs involving AI, autonomy, sensing, and complex systems. Her career has focused on translating frontier research into operational capability in high-consequence environments.
She later worked at , contributing to AI-driven technology development, before leaving government service to pursue independent innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biology, and communication.
An author and inventor, Franklin is currently developing AI-enabled systems for canine communication, applying emotion-aware modeling and behavioral science to improve understanding between humans and animals.
