About this Event
The United Nations Association of Orange County is pleased to host an event with our UNA chapter at Soka University to celebrate the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by Eleanor Roosevelt and other world leaders on December 10, 1948. Come learn about each of the 30 fundamental rights as laid out by our world leaders in what has become the most translated document in the world (the UDHR).
Hear from Human Rights experts on how these principles are being applied here locally and abroad, along with the challenges of making sure everyone has full access to these rights. There will also be a Panel Discussion with opportunities for Q&A, and plenty of time to get to know and network with other like-minded individuals.
