In collaborazione con il Council of Europe, questo panel si concentra sugli approcci istituzionali e di policy per promuovere l’inclusione delle persone LGBTI nello sport.
Atlete e atleti, decisori politici e rappresentanti della società civile si riuniscono per analizzare quadri giuridici e di governance, strumenti di policy e dati disponibili sulla discriminazione.
Il panel evidenzia come istituzioni pubbliche, organizzazioni sportive e società civile possano collaborare — in linea con il mandato dell’Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) del Consiglio d’Europa — per integrare i principi dei diritti umani nei sistemi sportivi e nella realizzazione di eventi sportivi e culturali inclusivi.

In collaboration with the Council of Europe, this panel focuses on institutional and policy approaches to promote LGBTI inclusion in sport. Athletes, policymakers, and civil society representatives will discuss legal and governance frameworks, policy tools, and data on discrimination.
The panel highlights how public institutions, sports organizations, and civil society can work together — in line with the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) mandate of the Council of Europe — to integrate human rights principles into sports systems and inclusive sporting and cultural events.
