Each chapter of Human Library is a guided space for meaningful non-judgmental conversations structured by thoughtful prompts. These prompts allow attendees to explore different perspectives stories and memories.
Note: This is not a dating event.
You can choose to listen to others` stories and share your own when you feel comfortable. Every participant takes turns sharing a memory opinion or experience related to the prompt assigned to them.
Structure of the event:
1. Introduction of attendees and the host.
2. Attendees are divided into smaller groups.
3. Each group receives a bowl of prompts.
3. Prompts are divided into three levels: Level 1 Level 2 and Level 3.
4. Level 1 prompts help people get to know each other.
Example: What is your earliest childhood memory?
5. Level 2 prompts encourage deeper conversations.
Example: What is one habit from your lifestyle that you would recommend to others?
6. Once Level 1 and Level 2 conversations are completed the smaller groups are merged for Level 3 prompts.
7. Depending on the number of attendees either one or two larger groups are formed for Level 3 conversations.
