About this Event
When you think back to your first experience building or creating in your childhood, what comes to mind? For many of us, the small and colorful LEGO building blocks ignited our hearts for innovation and allowed us to externally visualize our imaginations.
In an exciting collaboration between BU Disability and Access Services and Innovate@BU, this hands-on workshop will allow you to unpack a plethora of systems as we strive to foster a more holistic and humanistic approach to design, innovation, and investment. Together, we will explore important considerations including co-designing solutions in community with your affected or target audience, inclusive practices, ethical investment, and the inevitable proximity to disability which we all face. Through hands-on LEGO building in the form of a LEGO Serious Play facilitated session with Christopher Robinson from BU Disability & Access Services, we will generate thought-provoking questions to assist in understanding the misunderstood and creating strong and inclusive entrepreneurship modalities. Join us to build a renewed framework for personal innovation and social impact at this fun-filled collaborative workshop that you don't want to miss. Remember, everyone has time for a little (serious) play!
