Hosted by Hull Food Partnership, the Hull Seed Celebration is back for 2026!
Local food growers, allotments and community groups will be there to swap seeds and share their love for growing delicious food on a budget - especially important as food costs continue to rise.
Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE event on Saturday 21st February 2026, from 10:30am-2:30pm at Jubilee Central, 62 King Edward Street, Hull, HU1 3SQ

Although the Seed Celebration will take place on the first floor, don’t worry as the venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users and families with buggies, plus accessible toilets are available too.
If visitors don't have any seeds to swap, we will have some available on the day that will either be free or can be purchased for a small sum / in exchange for a donation.
There'll be stalls from organisations including:
- Hull Food Partnership
- Hull Fairtrade Partnership
- Groundwork Hull
- Hull Butterfly City
- Living with Water
- EMS
- Rewilding Youth
- Constable Street Community Allotment
- Hull and East Riding Friends of the Earth
- Rise Walled Garden
- Green Growers
- Frith Farm
- Bora Shabaa
…and more!
Showcasing why growing food is so important for communities in Hull (and how you can get involved).
Delicious food and drinks will be provided by the TimeBank Hull & East Riding.
Our talks schedule is as follows:
- 10:45 – 11.15am – Welcome to Hull Seed Celebration / Growing for Gold. (Anna Route: Hull Food Partnership)
- 11:30am – 12:00pm – Food justice, composting and polytunnels. (Penge Feza: Solidarity Hull CIC)
