Bored of cold and dark January already? Join award-winning landscape designer Hugo Bugg for an inspiring talk on how stories, place and stewardship shape truly resilient gardens. Drawing on projects from rural Devon and Dorset via Berlin and the RHS’s celebrated New Kitchen Garden at Bridgewater, Hugo will share how he and co-founder Charlotte Harris uncover the “story” of a site - and translate it into landscapes that feel deeply rooted, emotionally resonant, and ecologically responsible.
Discover how listening to the land, honouring local narratives, and working with nature rather than against it can create gardens that quietly endure, evolve, and connect us more deeply to the world around us.
Wednesday 7th January at 7.30pm. Non members welcome - £5 on the door.
