Enjoy a ranger-guided boat ride to Huggins Island and learn about the fort's design and history. Due to the nature of the island's landscape, attendees must be capable of handling significant step-up/step-down transitions off/on vessel. Space is limited; REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by contacting the park office: (910) 326-4881.
NOTE: The boat stops at the island. There is no dock, but optional island access is done from the bow of the boat.
